TECU® – natural ageing as a quality

TECU® copper is distinguished by its lively material behaviour. After installation, the surface undergoes a natural oxidation process that protects the material while enhancing it. The colour evolves from bright copper to warm brown and earthy tones and can – depending on exposure and application – eventually develop into a characteristic patina. This process makes each project unique and ensures that buildings clad with TECU® copper only gain in quality and appearance over time.

Sustainability

TECU® Classic

Bright rolled copper without surface treatment. The material develops naturally and highlights the passage of time as an integral part of the design.

TECU® Oxid

Pre‑oxidized copper surfaces with a warm brown appearance. Ideal when a mature look is desired from the moment of completion.

TECU® Patina

Pre‑patinated copper with a blue‑green or green patina, inspired by naturally aged copper architecture.

TECU® copper alloys

Alloys such as brass (copper‑zinc) offer a golden‑yellow to warm metallic appearance that subtly deepens over time.
